Wreck Intelligence is a free shipwreck map for interest and initial research. These terms say what you may reuse, what belongs to others, and what the site does not promise.

What you may reuse

You may cite the site’s own facts and statistics, with attribution to “Wreck Intelligence” and a link to the page you used.

Third-party material

Quoted excerpts, linked sources, map tiles and open data remain with their owners, under their own terms. The open datasets and the notices their licences require are listed on the attribution page.

No bulk extraction

Do not extract wreck positions in bulk for republication, whether by scraping the pages, the map or its data endpoints.

Corrections and takedown requests

If something is wrong, or you hold rights in material on the site and want it removed, write to hello@wreckintelligence.com.

No warranty

The site is compiled from published sources, and sources can be wrong or out of date. It is provided as it is, without any warranty of accuracy or completeness.
